Chicago & Portland - Get Ready For Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince with the Harry Potter Collection

THEATERS CELEBRATE THE UPCOMING RELEASE OF “HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE” WITH HARRY POTTER MARATHONS Theaters are celebrating the upcoming release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince with some Harry Potter marathons? Never seen a Potter flick? Now's your chance to go overboard. Can't remember what happened in the third film and want to see it on the big screen? Your Potter prayers are answered.

In celebration of the highly anticipated July 15th theatrical release of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” Woodridge’s Hollywood Blvd Cinema (1001 W. 75th St. – Woodridge,IL) will host a marathon of the first five installments of the Harry Potter film franchise: “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” and “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.”

“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” opens nationwide Wednesday, July 15th, with special midnight showings on Tuesday, July 14th. In anticipation of the newest Harry Potter film, longtime fans can gear up and new fans can catch up on the previous adventures during the following showtimes:

7/10 - “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” – 4pm

7/11 - “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” – 4pm

7/12 - “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” – 4pm

7/13 - “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” -4pm

7/14 - “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” – 4pm

There are no advance tickets. Seating is first-come, first-served. Doors open at 3pm. Plus each day 5 lucky winners from the audience will win a pair of tickets to the advance screening of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” at Hollywood Blvd Cinema on the evening of Tuesday July 14th. Winners chosen at “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” will be selected through a costume contest, so be sure to have your capes and wands at the ready on July 14th.

“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” is the sixth installment of Warner Bros. Pictures’ Harry Potter film franchise based on the beloved novels by J.K. Rowling. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson reprise their roles as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The film is directed by David Yates from a screenplay by Steve Kloves. David Heyman and David Barron are the producers with Lionel Wigram serving as executive producer and John Trehy co-producing.
