Transformers Part 3 - release date and Stan Bush news
Some not-so-awesome and some totally awesome news involving the world of the Transformers films. First, the not-so-awesome. Less than three days ago, the highways of the film internets were ablaze with news that the third Transformers film had a set release date of July 4th, 2011.
However, faster than Soundwave can turn into a tape player, director Michael Bay has recently divulged on his website that this is not entirely the case. Rather, the Bay-ster has said that when he agreed to do the film, he meant that it would come out in 2012, not 2011.
"That would mean I would have to start prep in September. No way. My brain needs a break from fighting robots," wrote the director. At the same time, he has broken his fan's hearts, but has probably made them salivate for a third round of "Bay-hem" even more. Well played.

What was the best part about the Transformers movie from 1986? Was it the fact that it was one of the last films to feature Citizen Kane director Orson Welles? Or that it was the animated show getting the feature treatment? Or possibly, was it the song by Stan Bush - the almighty theme of self confidence called "The Touch"?
Regardless what you think, here's some truly powerful news involving the latter suggestion. Stan Bush has recently revealed to seibertron.com, a website devoted to Transformers, that the song will soon be available on the Guitar Hero video game as a free download (the date of release is unknown).
Second, the track will also be used in at least two Transformer 2 toys that will be released in May.
Best of all, however, is the news that Bush is finishing a new version of his brilliant song. In his own words, he has called it "killer". He is submitting it for Transformers 2, in hopes that it will inspire a brand new generation of winners.
