Movie of the Week
127 Hours
The Stars: James Franco The Plot: A mountain climber (Franco) gets trapped under a boulder in Utah and must resort to drastic measures in order to survive. The Buzz: Director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) brings this "based on a true story" to life. Can it ready be Oscar worthy? Can it really make some people nearly pass out? Can Franco really hold your attention the entire time? Lots of questions, but I've already seen this flick, and the quick answer to everything is "yes."

Blu-ray/DVD of the Week
The Stars: Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick The Plot: Scott (Cera) falls for a new girl in town named Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). What he doesn’t realize is that he must do arcade-like battle with each of her seven ex-boyfriends. The Buzz: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is a step forward in movie entertainment. Most old people who didn’t grow up with an Atari, Colecovision, Nintendo or all the things that came after that, simply won’t “get” this movie. If only it was based on an actual video game.
