The Results of the 8th Annual Movie Awards

MOST DISAPPOINTING (High score is MOST disappointing)

6.74 TERMINATOR SALVATION 6.28 BRUNO 6.28 X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE 6.2 JENNIFER’S BODY 6.11 2012 6.05 IT’S COMPLICATED 5.96 ANGELS & DEMONS 5.86 COUPLES RETREAT 4.85 WATCHMEN 4.5 INVICTUS

Final Thoughts: Remember, these aren't the worst movies of the year, they're the most disappointing. Well team, we got the winner right. Could there have been a bigger expectation than Christian Bale finally giving us the adult John Connor? That was rhetorical. It appears the Terminator franchise is in trouble. Will James Cameron care, swoop in, and save the day. This category is really all about expectations. We used to do "Worst Movie of the Year" for the TSR Movie Awards. The main problem with that? No movie fans sit through films like All About Steve, Sorority Row and Love Happens. It shocking to see Invictus at the bottom of this list. I truly thought it would win (with Terminator close behind). When a film sports Morgan Freeman (in a role tailor made for him), Matt Damon and a story that should tear at the heart ... then comes out completely average, well that's MY most disappointing of the year. Bruno does make sense in second with everyone expecting more after Borat. I didn't mind Bruno one bit, but again, I'm only one voice.
