7th Annual TSR Movie Awards – 2008

The results are in —

And it turns out TSR is the big winner.

I’ve been pouring my guts into TSR Movie Awards for seven years. The most votes I had before this year, and before this website was 88. Mainly family and friends would take pity on me, plus I would pester them beyond belief.

This year, 823 (my new lucky number) people voted. It appears the website and the awards are catching on.

In the coming days I will be giving more insight and analysis to the awards, so be a little patient please.

Here’s a list of the winners (and a link to the complete voting)

5th Annual TSR Movie Awards – 2006

The results are in, and “The Departed” is clearly the fan favorite for all the people that voted in the 5th Annual TSR Movie Awards.

As always, we don’t just get winners with the awards, we get to see the losers as well. Yes, “Eragon,” and “The Da Vinci Code,” I’m talking to you.

The magic number this year is five votes. This means a movie needed at least five votes to be considered for eligibility.

Popular doesn’t mean better. “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” received the most overall votes, but it didn’t win a thing. In fact, the highest mark it received was a 7.16 for Jack Sparrow.

But then again, better sometimes isn’t good enough. The perfect example is Peter O’Toole. Out of all the people who voted, only

4th Annual TSR Movie Awards – 2005

Don’t worry cowboy, you can cry on my shoulder. The results of the 4th Annual TSR Movie Awards are in and it was a banner year. Now, if you are the type that just needs the numbers feel free to scroll down and get your fix.

TSR Movie Awards were just like the Academy Awards in the fact that they both had a wide variety of winners. The big difference was movie of the year and the host. While the Oscars were lucky enough to get Jon Stewart (and should have him hosting for years ala Johnny Carson), TSR Movie Awards were once again stuck with a tall blond movie geek shouting out award winners during the commercials.

This is normally the time when I attempt to have witty banter about the
