I actually agree that their acting was sub-par. Kristen's emotions are one-noted and in Twilight, Rob's acting was kind of embarrassing(take the resturant scene), but i think his acting is getting better from practice of the other movies he's done...When i read the books, i see Kristen and Rob..and since it's in my head, they do what i want them to do..react specific ways, and generally have better acting skills in my head than on the silver screen. So i don't begrudge them for sucking..They are just having an off day, i tell myself. Taylor did a good job considering you see him smiling all the time on Disney Channel..Taylor being surley works for me. For me, the only r4eason why i watch these movies is because, yes....i am a fan of the books..Anything related to that, us twi-hards are gonna watch..Simple as that..It's like a club.. an exclusive club..and you illiterates aren't invited. When i think of the movie, i asked my friend, who came with me,(whom hasn't read the books), if she thought it was choppy.. She said no, however, i think that it was..They use really great scenes from the book, but Chris Weitz just ends up schlopping them together hoping they work.. This movie was more for the book fans though-i get that. we already know what was going to happen and so transitions really weren't needed. Yeah, she gets a ...paper cut.. But do you know why its so bad?? B/C THE BOOK GIVES A CHAPTER LONG DESCRIPTION ON THE PAINS AND THE WOES OF ITS SIGNIFICANCE....Just saying.. For those of you who havent seen it yet, read the second book, or if not, just go in thinking with an open mind, albiet, it might take some effort, acting sucks from specific actors, but it's good.Just don't go during the times those little obnoxious screamers go..Everytime a boy comes on screen, WHAAAA!!!!!OMGOMGOMG!.. by the time they lost their voice, the actors have already said their lines... Have fun, i'm going to see it again this weekend, without the screamers..

I hope they don't start flooding the market with movies like this. I admit that I'm a Twihard but to be honest, it's the love of Edward and Bella and Rob and Kristen's portrayal of those characters that makes the movie work for me. I usually can't stand gushy romantic stuff but whenever Rob and Kristen are on screen, they really tug at my heart and it happens too when I read about Edward and Bella in the books. Obviously I don't agree with your interpretation of their acting.
