Box Office Challenge: 'The Warrior's Way' and that's it ...

Box Office Challenge

Hitting the screens this weekend ...

The Warrior's Way Black Swan (limited)

TSR's complete Film Review Database

There aren't a whole lot of newcomers to the race this week so my guess is that there won't be too much change for this weekend's box office challenge, but with the close call between Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Tangled, it could be anyone's game.

My money is once again on Harry Potter. Let's look at the facts, it's part of a franchise and it's already broken records. Plus, as adorable as Tangled looks, it doesn't seem to have the same re-watchability factor that Harry Potter 7 does.

Then again, don't expect Tangled to fall far. It's still got the 3D thing going for it, which counts for a whole helluva lot in this market. I'm expecting a modest second weekend with a second place finish.

Burlesque may not have won Nick Allen's heart over, but it's still got the appeal of Cher and Christina Aguilera. Coyote Ugly 2 er... I mean, Burlesque has earned enough in the past week to make it a pretty solid bet that with so few new releases, it'll probably secure third place in the top five.

Finally, Love and Other Drugs may have left Bayer clamoring for more drugs but with Hathaway's every woman quality (kudos to Modern family fans that get the reference) and the buzz surrounding her as a potential Oscar nominee and a definite Oscar host, this could do wonders for the film itself.

Last, but not least (well, maybe least...) my guess is Faster. It may have generated a Top 7 over here at The Scorecard Review, but it didn't do too much in generating revenue last weekend. There's not a whole lot to make me think this weekend will be all that different.

Each week we’ll take a look at the box office and see if we can’t nail the Top 5 films (in correct order). Also guess how many millions the #1 movie will make.

It’s harder than you think. If you don’t believe, let’s see what your answers are.

My prediction for the weekend of December 2 - 4 …

1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 ($39 million)

2. Tangled

3. Burlesque

4. Love and Other Drugs

5. Faster

So what are your Top 5 at the box office this weekend?
