Box Office Preview – Oct. 2 – Zombieland, Whip It, Toy Story 3D and more
Too many movies, that’s what die hard filmgoers must be thinking right now.
Do you choose Drew Barrymore directing, or Michael Moore? What about Joel and Ethan Coen or a zombie comedy? I didn’t even mention Ricky Gervais yet.
Sigh. You’ve got your work cut out for you. Don’t let football or family get in your way this weekend.
Each week we’ll take a look at the box office and see if we can’t nail the Top 5 films (in correct order).
It’s harder than you think. If you don’t believe, let’s see what your answers are.
My prediction for the weekend of Oct. 2-4
1. ‘Zombieland’ – $18.0 million
TSR – 9/10
2. ‘Toy Story / Toy Story 2 (3D)’
TSR – 5/10 (for 3D effects)
3. ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs’
TSR – 8/10
4. ‘Whip It’
TSR – 8/10
5. ‘Capitalism: A Love Story’
