Tyrese Gibson – Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

I sat down with Tyrese Gibson and others in Los Angeles at the Four Seasons to talk about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and more. Gibson is back starring as USAF Tech Sergeant Epps.

Here’s some nuggets that didn’t make the final cut of the interview. Gibson’s entire goal for nailing all that military speak, was to make sure that if anyone from the Air Force was watching, they’d know he got it right.

He also has a Transformers tattoo.

So what excited Gibson besides fighting along side Optimus Prime? Well, he’s now a comic-book creator beyond an actor, model, singer and producer. We talked briefly about the new endeavor.

“I did ‘Mayhem’ with Image Comics, it’s coming August 5. From one store alone we’ve already done over 10,000 copies in two weeks. That’s what I’m passionate about, stepping outside my comfort zone, trying something new and trying to take it to another level.”

He then starting singing the Transformer’s theme song, but you’ll have to watch the interview to see that.
