I thought this might not be possible: Me wanting to see a movie again after finishing watching it. After seeing it a second time I wanted to see it again a couple of days later. This movie is purely magic. It is touching and funny and the audio and visual design is perfect. I can only hope there won't be a sequel that might ruin all...

I really didn't want to see this movie. Johnny Five Jr. ticked me off, just a little bit. Maybe I just didn't like the comparison. Maybe I didn't like what SEEMED like the usual story of Everyman Unluckydude. Maybe I just knew I'd like it too much.

It ended up being a date movie. And it was the cutest thing I've seen all year! No jerk who does something stupid and mean, then gets forgiveness in a "I suddenly realize I love you!" ending. And what looked like another "Defrosting the Ice Queen" movie was anything but. Wall-E doesn't 'fix' EVE, nor is it simply a rescue to love. It's a little bot's quest to hold someone's hand.

And it may have been the only thing to encourage my date to give me a peck on the cheek. ^___^
