Hi.

This is Jeff Bayer, and I don't update this site very often. If you'd like to listen to my current movie podcast you can find it at MovieBS.com.

TSR Buzz: Herman Cain and Toby Keith are lame, crazy Indian action movie 'Enthiran' forever

With TSR Buzz, you’ll find links to articles, videos and other random things that will help you waste your time just a little bit more.

  • Herman Cain is trolling the GOP primary campaign pretty hard, first by claiming that he's not just running an elaborate book tour but actually running for president, and secondly by supporting this video. Invisible on his Youtube channel, this doozy can only be viewed by those with a link. Whether it's genuine or not, this is a superlative-heavy mega mess (much like Harry Knowles' review of Drive) that provides no reason to support its cause other than ... "I wouldn't be in this idiotic political ad if I didn't support Herman Cain."

  • You might have heard about Enthiran ("Robot") after Youtube got a hold of that movie's climactic action sequence (involving a hundred robo-clones shaping into spheres and snakes). Well, on Sunday night I finally saw the whole thing. All two hours and forty-five minutes of it, with its huge musical numbers and mega-bloated plot. Perhaps this movie is the Transformers of India? Either way, check out this trailer.  Try to wrap your head around this one.

  • I can't believe I'm about to do this either. But, here's the new song from Toby Keith which is about to dominate every college dorm and tailgate party (if it hasn't already). From the same guy who sang, "We'll put a boot in your ass, courtesy of the red, white, and blue" this new ridiculous country song has Keith slightly more aware of his silliness. Nevertheless, this chorus will be stuck in your head after one listen. I'm sorry.

  • Here is a grade-A prank on a Christian call-in show. Excellent set-up, followed by an even better twist. Perfect.
